The Viking High Challenge Upright Large Drop Sprinkler produces large water droplets through the use of an extra large orifice and a special double deflector. The large water droplets provide the required mass to penetrate the plume of severe fires. This characteristic permits direct wetting of the fire while cooling the atmosphere.
