PROMASEAL Fire Collars Type FC are purpose made painted steel shells with integral mounting points, containing a specially formulated intumescent material. They are designed to prevent the passage of fire through gaps in compartment walls and floors caused by the collapse and/or melting of combustible services in the event of fire.

 

The collars are used to maintain the fire resistance of walls and floors when they are penetrated by combustible pipework made from plastic and can also be used around grouped cables. The unique opening mechanism allows installation before or after pipe work is installed. See Technical Data Sheet for more information.
